So as you can see Background Actors pay today,October 2006, for TV/Film and especially Commercials, is actually LESS than it was in 1990 (taking into consideration the rate of inflation). While Principals have gained more than the inflation rate, except in Commercials. Something that the SAG Board should bear in mind when negotiations start next year for the new 3-year contract.
